- Description:Human Fab Capture Kit, type 2
- Cat. no.:103568-408
- Storage Temperature:+2…+8 °C
- No. of Reactions:16 immobilizations, 1600 regenerations
Reagents for capture of human Fab fragments as ligands in biomolecular interaction analysis. Designed for use with Biacore 8K+, and Biacore 8K (larger kit component volumes than in human Fab capture kit) but can be used with all other Biacore systems.
- Early selection of binders enabled through kinetics screening by high resolution off-rate ranking
- Broad framework specificity, captures kappa and lambda types of human Fab fragments
- Fab binder with high capture efficiency and stability
Human Fab binder is a mixture of two monoclonal antibodies recognising kappa and lambda subtypes of human Fab fragment light chains. It binds specifically to the Fab region of human antibodies and no binding to the Fc region has been observed. It does not cross-react with Fab from other species. In addition, no non-specific binding from cell lysate or cell culture medium has been observed.
It is used for screening and characterisation of human Fab fragments generated from phage display (purified or directly from crude cell lysates or periplasmic extract). The use of these products in Biacore systems requires an amine coupling kit with sensor chip CM5, CM4, CM3, or C1.
Additionally carboxyl-derivatized chip (Sensor Chip CM5, CM4, CM3 or C1), amine coupling kit and running buffer (HBS-EP+, HBS-EP, HBS-P+, HBS-P, HBS-N, PBS-P+, PBS) required.
