InterPhase SP separators are used in conjunction with InterPhase liquid/liquid coalescers. The InterPhase SP is hydrophobic and repels water droplets that form while passing through the coalescers.

They perform exceptionally well in a broad range of liquid applications. Generally, the pleated, silicone treated cellulose separator is considered the best general purpose separator yielding lower pressure loss and providing extended separation surface area.
