DrySlide™ PYR is a disposable slide format for the presumptive identification of group A streptococci and enterococci.

Contains the reagent L-pyrrolidonyl-ß-naphthylamide (PYR) which is hydrolyzed by bacteria possessing the enzyme pyrrolidonyl amino peptidase. The addition of the DrySlide™ PYR color developer results in a vivid color reaction in a three minute test.
Delivery: Includes DrySlide™ PYR color developer in a reagent dispenser, accommodating up to four tests per slide/dispenser.
