The Intracooler Series cool the sample holder enclosure block of the DSC instruments.
- It is designed for use with Differential scanning calorimeters (DSC)
They are closed-loop circulating heat exchangers with a compact mechanical refrigeration unit. They are an excellent economical option for laboratories requiring low temperatures or fast cooling rates, but with limited access to liquid N2. The Intracooler II series has a dual stage heat exchanger with a temperature range that encompasses most DSC 4000/6000 applications work.
