These plates are commonly used as bacterial indicator plates to monitor fermentation. It contains 1.0% Peptone (10.0 g/L), 2.0% Lactose (20.0 g/L), 0.2% Potassium Phosphate, K2HP04 (5.0 g/L), 0.04% Eosin Y (0.4 g/L), 0.0065% Methylene Blue (0.065 g/L), 1.5% Agar (15.0 g/L).
