SensoLyte® Luminescent Alkaline Phosphatase Assay Kit provides highly sensitive chemiluminescent substrate to quantify alkaline phosphatase activity in solutions, in cell extracts, in live cells.
Phosphatases are important classes of enzymes involved in cellular signal transduction, cell metabolism and other biological activities. Changes in alkaline phosphatase level and activity are involved in a variety of physiological and pathological events, such as bone development, bone-related diseases, gestation related diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, post-parathyroidectomy stage and drug toxicity.
