Carbenicillin is an analog of ampicillin. For use with ampicillin resistant strains and strains harboring plasmids such as pBluescript, pGEM, pUC series plasmids. X-gal allows blue/white selection of colonies.

Contains 1% Tryptone, 0.5% Yeast Extract, 1.0% Sodium Chloride, 1.5% agar 50µg/ml carbenicillin, 0.1 mM IPTG, 60 µg/ml X-gal.
