Karmali formula, with charcoal, deoxycholate, cefoperazone, vancomycin, and amphotericin. Plates are designed for the selective isolation of Campylobacter spp. The Karmali formula has been shown to achieve superior results in the recovery of Campylobacter from stool specimens. Also known as mCCDA (Modified Charcoal Cefoperazone Deoxycholate Agar and Campy CSM).
