Sklarlite™ Sklarcut™ Metzenbaum Dissecting Scissors are most commonly used for dissecting and cutting tissue
Sklarlite™ Sklarcut™ Scissors are a lighter version of the standard Sklar scissors that feature micro-serrations on one blade to assist in holding the tissue during cutting and minimize tissue from slipping, so the most accurate and atraumatic cuts can be made. A manufacturing process developed by Sklar shaves microns off standard pattern instruments, while maintaining structural integrity and durability. This lightweight modification provides the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue. Sklarcut™ scissors are identified by a single gold coated finger ring on the handle of the serrated blade.
These scissors are not recommended for cutting sutures, drains, or heavy tissue.
