Sklarlite™ Sklarcut™ Iris Scissors are a lighter version of the standard Sklar Iris scissors that feature micro-serrations on one blade to reduce trauma when cutting both delicate and course tissue
Sklarcut™ micro-serrations assist in holding the tissue during cutting and minimizes tissue from slipping so the most accurate and clean cuts can be made. Sklarcut™ scissors are identified by a single gold coated finger ring on the handle of the serrated blade.
A manufacturing process developed by Sklar shaves microns off standard pattern instruments while maintaining structural integrity and durability. This lightweight modification provides the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue.
