Combining the AE31 Elite with a Moticam digital microscopy camera provides stunning publication quality images and transforms the AE31 into a complete documentation and analysis workstation. The extra-long working distance of 72mm easily accommodates most Petri dishes and culture flasks. This distance is easily increased to 184mm by removing the lower part of the condenser. The available epi-fluoresence attachment is compatible with a wide range of filters, including DAPI, FITC, GFP, and Cy3, among others. The AE31 Elite provides a significant improvement in optical performance and versatility.
The extended focus on the practical aspects allows the AE31 Elite to provide excellent optical quality and unmatched operational convenience when compared to similarly priced units. The included plan achromatic objectives and built-in Koehler illumination provide crisp, evenly illuminated images with high image contrast and perfect field flatness up to F.N.22. Available upgrade options such as epi-fluorescence attachments and LED lighting modules ensure that the AE31 Elite will meet requirements and grow with the lab for years to come.
