Hard-Shell® 96-Well Semi-Skirted PCR Plates are designed to withstand the stresses of thermal cycling and robotic handling

  • Reaction volumes of 5–125 µl (200 µl maximum)
  • Black lettering for easy well identification
  • Free of DNase, RNase, and human DNA
  • White-well option for increased fluorescent signal strength
  • Color-coded skirt option with clear wells
  • Low-cost, user-readable barcode option for convenient database tracking

The half-height skirt provides improved robotic handling and a labeling surface, and the low-profile wells are optimized for low-volume reactions and fast PCR.

The patented two-component design provides stability and flatness, allowing precise positioning for automation. The skirt and deck are molded from a rigid thermostable polymer to eliminate warping and shrinkage, and the thin-wall wells are molded of virgin polypropylene with low DNA binding.
