Mixed Cellulose Esters (MCE) membrane is a general purpose filter used in many applications for microbiological analysis and air monitoring. Contrasting grid lines are tested to assure freedom from grid line inhibition and facilitate colony/particle counting. Black and Green membranes provide a contrastng background for counting light colored particulates and help to minimize eye fatique.

• Available pore sizes include 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, 0.45, 0.65, 0.80, 1.0, 3.0 and 5.0 µm
• Available membrane colors include white, black and green
• Surfaces are either gridded or plain with or without a hydrophobic edge (HE)

MCE membranes are manufactured to comply with the ASTM and the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater. MCE 0.80 µm filters meet NIOSH requirements for air sampling applications such as metals analysis and aesbestos monitoring. Quality control tests are performed on each lot and QA Certificates are available.
