About this item
MKP7 is a dual specificity MAP kinase phosphatase which has been shown to bind and inactivate kinases p38 (isoforms alpha and beta) and JNK, but not ERK. A mutant form MKP7 has been shown to function as a dominant negative, particularly against the dephosphorylation of JNK in vitro, suggesting that MKP7 works as a JNK-specific phosphatase in vivo. Detailed transcriptional mapping of 12p12 chromosomal region has identified MKP7 as a possible tumour suppressor gene.
DUSP16 antibody can be used in ELISA, Western Blot, immunohistochemistry starting at 5 ?g/mL, and immunofluorescence starting at 10 ?g/mL.
PBS, 0.2% gelatin, 0.05% sodium azide.
Aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
