IBI offers replacement plasmid columns and collection tubes available in convenient sizes
The sample size for the Total RNA Spin Columns is up to 25 mg of tissue, 300 µL of fresh blood, 5x10^6 of mammalian cells, 1x10^9 of cultured cells, 100 mg of fresh plant tissue, or 25 mg dry plant tissue. The elution volume is 50 µL. The binding capacity is up to 60 µg.
The columns and collection tubes can be used with extra reagents from previously purchased full kits. The columns and collection tubes are compatible with any kit that utilizes lysis, bind, wash, elute steps. The user must observe column specifications for sample size, molecule size, and elution volume.
