Clear bottles are Wheaton '400' borosilicate glass. Low alkali content helps to prevent changes in pH and maintain purity of contents. Comes with 'PTFE'-lined cap. Autoclavable. Amber bottles are manufactured from '500' borosilicate glass to protect light-sensitive samples.
