Securtainer™ Specimen Containers are designed for collection, transport and storage of specimens

Available in three unique models, containers and caps are manufactured without the use of plasticisers or mold release agents. Material used in manufacturing is free from latex. All containers are 95kpa compliant. Available in many sizes from 20 to 120mL. Non-sterile.

The SecurTainer™ I sample container incorporates a unique push tab tamper evident locking mechanism. Once fully screwed, the tamper evident ring will detach itself from the cap showing the container was opened. The Securtainer™ I can also be used without the tamper evident tab.

The SecurTainer™ II sample container incorporates a "soda bottle" type tamper evident mechanism. By simply screwing the cap on the container, the tamper evident sealing ring will automatically lock itself over the container threads. When unscrewed, the ring is detached from the cap showing clearly that the container was opened. 

The SecurTainer™ III sample container is supplied with a standard leakproof screw cap.

Simport Scientific offers shatter-resistant polypropylene containers, eliminating most problems of leakage and evaporation. Containers are uniquely stackable, shatter-resistant and are manufactured from virgin, high-clarity polypropylene. The magenta lids are ribbed for easy opening when hands are wet or gloved while the jars are stackable for easy, safe storage. Containers are translucent to allow specimens to be viewed without opening. Caps are manufactured from virgin polyethylene with an integrated leak-resistant seal.
