Atomizers are for spraying reagents onto thin layer chromatography plates. Many reagent atomizers have a screw-thread joint for connecting the sprayer head to the flask, and sprays can operate on very little air pressure, making them functional in a range of environmental conditions. Atomizers provide a uniform spray mist of visualization agents for both thin layer and paper chromatography. Certain sprayers feature specially designed heads to eliminate the formation of droplets and spattering.
