Identifying and Reducing the Analytical Blank for Inorganic Trace Analysis

Thursday, June 26th, 2025.
15.00 -16.00 CEST / 09.00-10.00 EDT

The webinar is valuable for analysts and laboratory managers working in inorganic trace analysis laboratories (ICP-MS and ICP-OES). Limits of detection and reporting limits for trace analysis are a function of the instrument sensitivity and the analytical blank.

This webinar will discuss the components that contribute to the blank — including reagents, labware, lab environment, sample handling techniques and sample introduction) — and strategies to identify and reduce the blank.
