BioMax® MS film is een high performance all-purpose, maximale gevoeligheid autoradiografie film. Indien gebruikt met de Biomax ® TranScreen HIJ scherm, levert deze film een 4 tot 8 keer grotere gevoeligheid bij de detectie van ³ ² P in vergelijking met andere autoradiografie filmen. Deze film / scherm combinatie is ideaal voor het opsporen van Northern, Southern en Dot Blotting toepassingen, met name voor het opsporen van lage intensiteit monsters of waar verlaging van de belichtingsduur noodzakelijk is.

BioMax® XAR-film is een autoradiografiefilm voor gebruik met alle veelgebruikte isotopen en chemiluminescentielabels. De beide kanten van de heldere drager zijn gecoat met een emulsie. Hierdoor is de film geschikt voor zowel directe autoradiografie als ontwikkeling met screens voor signaalversterking, met inbegrip van BioMax® screens.

BioMax® Light is a double emulsion film that provides maximum clarity and sensitivity for detection of chemiluminescent-labelled samples. BioMax® Light produces the highest signal-to-noise ratio of any Kodak film for detection of chemiluminescence. This film performs well with all brands of chemiluminescent kits. BioMax® Light film is suitable for direct and intensifying screen exposures with commonly used isotopes, though it provides lower sensitivity resulting in longer exposure times compared to BioMax® MS, and X-OMAT AR films for radioisotope detection.

Designed for use with gamma emitters such as ¹²⁵I and high-energy beta emitters, such as ³²P, the BioMax™ TranScreen HE intensifying screen offers the greatest sensitivity. When used in conjunction with the BioMax™ MS film, the system equals or exceeds the image quality of conventional autoradiography screen/film systems. By minimising the distances between the radioisotope and phosphor layer, it presents the phosphor to the emitting particles immediately, for less scattering and better spatial resolution.

X-OMAT® LS is een voordelige, blauwgetinte film voor alle toepassingen waarvoor de maximale prestaties van BioMax® MR, BioMax® MS of X-OMAT® AR films niet nodig zijn. X-OMAT® LS film is compatibel met alle veelgebruikte radio-isotopen en chemiluminescente sondes. De film heeft echter een significant lagere detectiegevoeligheid dan BioMax® autoradiografiefilms, zodat er langer ontwikkeld moet worden.
