Work positioning lanyards, Protecta®, 3M™

Protecta® work positioning rope connecting lanyards are an ideal solution for the connecting element in a restraint system. Made from polyamide braided rope with safety stitching.

• Made from Ø10,5 mm durable and flexible braided polyamide rope

• Sewn terminations with heat shrink tube protection provide greater durability and long product service life
• Use as part of a restraint system to prevent the user from moving into an area where they may be exposed to a fall

They are available in a variety of lengths and connection options to suit the users requirements. A length adjuster allows the user to easily adjust the length of the lanyard as required. The work positioning lanyard enables the user to be partially supported on a structure or fixed ladder and use both hands to complete a task, whilst maintaining stability. The user must ensure that a suitable secondary means of fall protection is used (e.g. a fall arrest lanyard). Lanyards equipped with a trigger adjustment system allow the user to easily adjust the length of the lanyard during use, even when the rope is dirty and wet.
