Over dit artikel

For reverse transcription of eukaryotic mRNA before qPCR or RNA sequencing.

Use STEMscript™ cDNA Synthesis Kit with Oligo(dT) Primers for reverse transcription of eukaryotic mRNA prior to qPCR or RNA sequencing. This kit includes three components that have been optimised to provide efficient synthesis of first-strand cDNA in preparation for qPCR amplification: STEMscript™ Reverse Transcriptase Mix (contains STEMscript™ Reverse Transcriptase purified from recombinant E. coli, and recombinant ribonuclease inhibitor), STEMscript™ Reaction Buffer (contains primers, MgCl₂, and dNTPs), and nuclease-free water.

Oligo(dT) primers are ideal for reverse transcription of eukaryotic mRNA, as they anneal to poly(A) tails. For reverse transcription of RNA without poly(A) tails (e.g. rRNA, tRNA, degraded RNA, RNA isolated from prokaryotic sources, and RNA with known secondary structures), we recommend using STEMscript™ cDNA Synthesis Kit with Random Primers.
