3,3',5,5'-Tetramethylbenzidine (TMB), liquid substrate
TMB is a chromogenic substrate for Horse Radish Peroxidase (HRP). MP Biolomedicals TMB Solution is a convenient, non toxic and ready to use stable chromogen solution suitable for peroxidase and pseudo-peroxidase reactions in ELISA, it provides consistent performance and sensitivity to deliver reproducible results
- Ready-to-Use, convenient
- Reproducible Results
- Consistent Performance and Sensitivity
- Stabilized chromogen solution
- For ELISA procedures and peroxidase and pseudo-peroxidase reactions
- Stable up to 24 months
- Non toxic.
Metabolism of the TMB substrate by HRP creates a soluble bluish reaction product that may be quantified by measuring absorbance at 370 or 665 nm. Reaction can be stopped by addition of 1 volume of 1N hydrocloric or sulfurc acid to yield a yellow reaction product that can be measured by absorbance at 450 nm (within one hour).
: Research Use Only (RUO).
