Waterzuiveringssystemen zijn nuttig voor het leveren van water van consistent hoge kwaliteit voor gebruik in de meeste laboratorium- en algemene productieomgevingen. De meeste systemen verwijderen mineraalionen zoals natrium, calcium, ijzer, koper, chloride en sulfaat, evenals anorganische vaste stoffen, organische stoffen, bacteriën en pyrogenen uit watermonsters.
