De Multiskan FC is een compacte, betrouwbare en robuuste microplaatfotometer waarmee 96-wells platen kunnen worden gemeten voor een groot aantal toepassingen. Het apparaat levert snelle en nauwkeurige metingen met een uitstekende lineariteit. Eén model uit de serie is voorzien van een incubator voor temperatuurregeling tot 50 °C, voor het meten van 384-wells platen. Het duurt slechts 6 seconden om een 96-wells plaat te meten en 12 seconden om een 384-wells plaat te meten. Het golflengtebereik van 340 tot 850 nm maakt de Multiskan FC geschikt voor vele toepassingen, van enzymkinetiek tot Lowry-assays.
