Extractoren scheiden mengselelementen om meer gezuiverde vloeistoffen, vaste stoffen of gassen over te houden. Bij deze veelgebruikte monstervoorbereiding voor analytische wetenschappen breken handmatige of automatische modellen componenten af en isoleren ze, waardoor testen en hanteren eenvoudiger wordt.
