Met behulp van reactieblokken kunnen syntheses worden uitgevoerd in rondbodemkolven bij temperaturen tot 180 ˚C, zonder gebruik van oliebaden. Het systeem garandeert optimale warmteoverdracht van de verwarmingsplaat rechtstreeks in het medium. Gelijkmatige menging is ook gegarandeerd, aangezien er geen interferentie plaatsvindt naar het magnetische veld vanuit de aluminium blokken. Reactieblokken zijn verkrijgbaar van 100 ml tot 5000 ml in grootte; inserts voor rondbodemkolven van 10 ml tot 3000 ml zijn verkrijgbaar. Als gevolg van het brede bereik aan uitwisselbare inserts kan dit systeem worden gebruikt voor een reeks verschillende toepassingen met de RCT, RET en RH magnetische roerders met verwarmingsplaat.
