Rondbodemkolven
Speciaal gevormd voor een gelijkmatige warmteverdeling worden rondbodemkolven gebruikt voor destillatie, chemische reacties, het verwarmen van vloeistofmonsters en opslagbehoeften. Gemaakt van resistent glas verdelen de bolvormige containers de optredende spanning gelijkmatig over de oppervlakken om breuk te voorkomen. Met temperatuurbestendigheid is het glaswerk een essentieel onderdeel in refluxopstellingen. Voornamelijk gebruikt voor chemisch en biochemisch onderzoek zijn de rondbodemkolven verkrijgbaar met korte of lange hals.
