Kroezen
Kroesjes bevatten oplossingen die bij extreme temperaturen tot constant gewicht moeten worden gedroogd en vervolgens worden verascht om het gewicht te minimaliseren. Vaak met een geperforeerde bodem dienen de vaten als filter voor het afzetten van neerslagen. De hoogwaardige vaten zijn verkrijgbaar in zowel hoge als lage vormen, met of zonder deksel. Stabiele kroesjes zijn bestand tegen zelfs agressieve stoffen. Verkrijgbaar in diverse capaciteiten, fabricage- en glazuurmogelijkheden, zodat ze eenvoudig aangepast kunnen worden aan de procedure en het monster.

These reusable crucibles made from alumina (aluminum oxide) are used for TGA measurements. After mechanical cleaning, store them in water (or possibly even in 10% hydrochloric acid) because many salts are soluble in water. Oxides form chlorides in hydrochloric acid, which can be removed by rinsing. After drying, heat the crucibles to red heat to ensure that no weight loss occurs when they are used.
