Flessluitingen maken veilig transport van vloeibare media mogelijk door potten of rollerflessen goed af te sluiten. Verschillende voeringen bieden extra oplosmiddelbestendigheid, terwijl permeabele uitvoeringen effectief filteren tijdens gasuitwisseling en mediasterilisatieprocedures. Monsters blijven beschermd, zelfs onder zware omstandigheden zoals vriesdrogen (lyofilisatie) of autoclaveren, dankzij hittebestendige doppen. Compressiedoppen voor reacties op microschaal ondersteunen stabiele observaties. Wegwerp- en herbruikbare schroefdoppen zijn verkrijgbaar in vele kleuren, met of zonder septa.
