Ampullen
Ampullen worden gebruikt om vloeibare of vaste monsters te bevatten en te bewaren en worden doorgaans vervaardigd uit borosilicaatglas. Veel modellen van deze ampullen zijn voorgekerfd om het vijlen overbodig te maken en het breken voor de gebruiker eenvoudiger en veiliger te maken. Er zijn geen conserveermiddelen nodig dankzij de luchtdichte afsluiting. Ampullen zijn een zeer kosteneffectieve oplossing voor het transport van kleine volumes oplossingen voor routinematige laboratoriumtesten onder stabiele omstandigheden.
