Systemen voor capillaire elektroforese
Capillaire elektroforese-systemen scheiden moleculen in een mengsel op basis van individuele grootte en lading. Door spanning aan de buffers toe te passen, migreren de beïnvloede ionen met het elektrisch veld door de nauwe capillairen met verschillende snelheden. De systemen bevatten zeer gevoelige elektroden die de beweging van anionen naar de anode bevorderen, terwijl de kathode kationen aantrekt. Deze analytische techniek levert snellere resultaten en een scheiding met hogere resolutie dan andere methoden.
