ISE-elektroden

Ion-selectieve elektroden worden gebruikt in analytische chemie en biochemisch onderzoek waar nauwkeurige metingen van ionenconcentratie in waterige oplossingen vereist zijn, waardoor giswerk bij waterkwaliteitsmetingen wordt geëlimineerd. Bepaalde modellen zijn speciaal gekalibreerd voor het detecteren en meten van verschillende chemische concentraties in afvalwater, drinkwater en algemene toepassingen voor waterkwaliteit. Verschillende ion-selectieve membranen worden gebruikt in ISE's, waarbij de meeste modellen gemakkelijk vervangbare vullingsoplossingen hebben en sommige beschikken over membraantechnologie die geen vervanging nodig heeft.
