HTD Equilibrium Dialysis Device
HTD reusable equilibrium dialysis device combines industry-leading accuracy and precision with an automation compatible design for a cost efficient, scalable solution.
- Simultaneously process 1 to 96 assays, each with a 30 to 150 µl capacity to conserve valuable reagents
- Compatible with a wide range of dialysis membrane pore sizes
- Ready in minutes, achieves equilibrium in 4 to 6 hours on average
- Automatable with standard robotic workstations and 96-well pipettors
- Ready access to both the sample and dialysate sides of the membrane from the top of the device
- Minimal non-specific binding due to 100% Teflon block construction
- Reusable device is cost-effective, eco-friendly, and scalable
- Compatible with a wide range of dialysis membrane pore sizes: 1 kDa, 3,5 kDa, 6 to 8 kDa, 10 kDa, 12 to 14 kDa, 25 kDa, 50 kDa
The HTD96B micro equilibrium device was developed at a Global Pharmaceutical Research laboratory to assess serum protein binding, microsomal protein binding, and tissue specific binding of drug candidates, conserving sample quantities, and achieving rapid equilibrium.
Reusable device combines industry-leading accuracy and precision with an automation compatible design for a scalable, cost-efficient, and eco-friendly solution.
Applications:
- Serum/plasma protein binding
- Microsome protein binding
- Relative binding of drug to specific tissues
- Receptor binding
- T3/T4 free fraction binding (hyperthyroidism) determinations
The 96C model has a shorter diffusion path with a 25 to 75 µl capacity and achieves equilibrium in 2 to 4 hours on average.
