The immunoglobulin was prepared from goat serum using current chromatographic techniques. A quantitative
protein analysis as well as SDS-PAGE have been applied to determine quality of the product.

It is useful for structural and biological studies, as a reference standard, or as starting material for the preparation of an immunogen.
