Tests sur les anticorps
Les tests antigène-anticorps reposent sur le fait qu’il existe un anticorps spécifique pour chaque antigène, et que chacun peut donc être utilisé pour détecter la présence de l’autre. Ces tests sont généralement effectués sur du sérum, mais parfois d’autres échantillons de fluides corporels, de tissus ou de selles peuvent être utilisés.
