Agarose et acrylamide

L’agarose et l’acrylamide sont les gels d’électrophorèse les plus couramment utilisés pour leur polyvalence avec les tampons et leur capacité à générer des résultats reproductibles. L’agarose est généralement utilisée pour les tests horizontaux afin de séparer de grands fragments d’ADN, tandis que l’acrylamide est utilisé pour les séparations verticales d’acides nucléiques plus courts. Faciles à manipuler, les gels sont choisis en fonction de la haute résolution souhaitée et des échantillons. La concentration ou le rapport entre l’agarose et l’acrylamide détermine la porosité de travail globale.
