Les générateurs d’azote, les plus répandus parmi les générateurs de gaz utilisés dans les laboratoires du monde entier, sont conçus pour fournir un approvisionnement continu ou à la demande en azote pur et sans phtalates. Ces systèmes sont conçus pour utiliser l’adsorption modulée en pression afin d’éliminer l’oxygène, le dioxyde de carbone et la vapeur d’eau. Une fois purifié, le gaz est filtré à travers des préfiltres coalescents haute efficacité et un filtre à membrane de 0,01 µm. Certains modèles sont dimensionnés pour s’intégrer dans de petits meubles ou sous la plupart des plans de travail.
