Les générateurs de gaz sont des composants essentiels dans le processus de chromatographie en phase gazeuse, remplaçant l’air comprimé par le gaz de votre choix, très souvent de l’azote de haute pureté, mais aussi de l’hydrogène ou un vide. Ces systèmes sont conçus pour utiliser l’adsorption modulée en pression afin d’éliminer l’oxygène, le dioxyde de carbone et la vapeur d’eau. Une fois purifié, le gaz choisi est filtré à travers des préfiltres coalescents haute efficacité et un filtre à membrane de 0,01 µm. Certains modèles sont dimensionnés pour tenir dans de petits placards ou sous la plupart des plans de travail.
