Les bouteilles de lavage de gaz sont généralement utilisées pour saturer un liquide avec un gaz ou un gaz avec une autre vapeur. Ces contenants gradués peuvent également être utilisés pour précipiter des éléments à partir d’un gaz ou sécher des flux gazeux. Des bases élargies et stables maintiennent les récipients en verre borosilicaté ou en polyéthylène durable en position verticale. Efficaces pour humidifier les mélanges air-dioxyde de carbone, les bouteilles de lavage de gaz permettent de maintenir une humidité élevée dans les incubateurs de culture cellulaire gazés.
