Un panneau de commande avancé permet de paramétrer de nombreux facteurs pour des évaluations d'impact réalisées plus rapidement qu'avec les méthodes traditionnelles. Grâce à un flux d'air constant, les conditions restent uniformes dans toute l'enceinte et des alarmes se déclenchent en cas d'écart par rapport aux réglages. Les enceintes d'essais environnementaux disposent de temps de récupération rapides après l'ouverture de la porte afin de limiter les risques de dommages.
