Church & Gilbert’s Hybridization Buffer is prepared from molecular biology grade SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate), monosodium phosphate (NaHPO₄), EDTA (ethylenediaminetetracetic acid) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) Fraction V using DNase, RNase and Protease-free water. It consists of 1mM EDTA, 1% BSA, 0,5M sodium phosphate monobasic, and 7% SDS (at a pH of 7,2).
