Contact plates efficiently monitor environmental surfaces for microbial contamination. Used to determine the sanitation techniques and schedules required, the plates enumerate the colonies collected before and after cleaning is completed. With a marked grid on the flat bottom, optical counting can be easily done. Already containing the media and supplements, plates will deactivate any disinfectant residue. The contact plates allow critical cleanroom laboratories to meet and maintain sterile conditions for susceptible tests.
