Anti-B9D1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-B9D1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

B9D1 Antibody: Meckel syndrome (MKS) is an embryonic lethal, autosomal recessive disorder characterized by polycystic kidney disease, central nervous system defects, polydactyly and liver fibrosis. B9D1 is a B9 domain-containing protein, one of several that are involved in ciliogenesis. Alterations in expression of this gene have been found in a family with Meckel syndrome. B9D1, and its related protein B9D2, form a complex with MKS1, disruption of which causes MKS. B9D1 is thought to be required for normal hedgehog signaling, ciliogenesis, and ciliary protein localization.

Anti-MYBPC1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-MYBPC1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

MYBPC1 Antibody: Myosin binding protein C (MYBPC) is a component of the thick filament of striated muscle, with the slow-type isoform designated MYBPC1. Both the fast-type (MYBPC2) and slow-type MYBPC protein contains seven immunoglobulin C2 motifs and three fibronectin type-III repeats. Multiple isoforms of MYBPC1 are known to exist, and are present in varying amounts in different skeletal muscles. It is thought that the MYBPC1 slow subfamily may play important roles in the assembly and stabilization of sarcomeric M- and A-bands and regulate the contractile properties of the actomyosin filaments.

Anti-EIF2AK1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-EIF2AK1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

EIF2AK1 acts at the level of translation initiation to downregulate protein synthesis in response to stress. The protein is a kinase that can be inactivated by hemin. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. The HRI gene is localized to 7p22 where its 3' end slightly overlaps the 3' end of the gene JTV1. The two genes are transcribed from opposite strands. Studies in rat and rabbit suggest that the HRI gene product phosphorylates the alpha subunit of eukaryotic initiation factor 2. Its kinase activity is induced by low levels of heme and inhibited by the presence of heme. Sequence Note: The sequence AF181071.1 is a chimeric mRNA clone. Only the heme-regulated initiation factor 2-alpha kinase region was propagated into this RefSeq record.

Anti-REXO4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-REXO4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

The regulation of the quinone reductase (QR) gene as well as other genes involved in detoxification is known to be mediated by an electrophile response element (EpRE). QR gene regulation by the antiestrogen-occupied estrogen receptor (ER) is mediated by the EpRE-containing region of the human QR gene, and the ER is one of the complex of proteins that binds to the EpRE. REXO4 directly binds to the EpRE and interacts with the ER. The activation of QR gene activity by REXO4 is enhanced in the presence of ER beta.

Anti-NR2F2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-NR2F2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

NR2F2, an orphan member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily, acts as a transcriptional repressor by antagonizing the functions of other nuclear hormone receptors and by actively silencing transcription. However, in certain contexts, NR2F2 stimulates transcription directly. NR2F2, MyoD and p300 interact in a competitive manner, and that increasing amounts of NR2F2 have the ability to reduce the interaction between myoD and p300 invitro. NR2F2 post-transcriptionally regulates myoD activity/function, and that crosstalk between orphan nuclear receptors and the myogenic bHLH proteins has functional consequences for differentiation.

Anti-DMAP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-DMAP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

DMAP1 is a subunit of several, distinct complexes involved in the repression or activation of transcription. The encoded protein can independently repress transcription and is targeted to replication foci throughout S phase by interacting directly with the N-terminus of DNA methyltransferase 1. During late S phase, histone deacetylase 2 is added to this complex, providing a means to deacetylate histones in transcriptionally inactive heterochromatin following replication. The encoded protein is also a component of the nucleosome acetyltransferase of H4 complex and interacts with the transcriptional corepressor tumor susceptibility gene 101 and the pro-apoptotic death-associated protein 6, among others. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described. This gene encodes a subunit of several, distinct complexes involved in the repression or activation of transcription. Anti-GAPDH Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-GAPDH Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

GAPDH Antibody: Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) catalyzes the reversible oxidative phosphorylation of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate in the presence of inorganic phosphate and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), an important energy-yielding step in carbohydrate metabolism. Recent evidence suggests that it also is involved in a number of cellular processes such as membrane fusion, phosphotransferase activity, DNA replication and repair, and nuclear RNA export. GAPDH has also been implicated in playing a role in different pathologies such as cancer progression, apoptosis, and neuronal diseases such as Alzheimer's and Huntington's disease. GAPDH is constitutively expressed at high levels in almost all tissues and cell lines making it ideal for use as a loading control marker in immunoblots.

Anti-SIK3 Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-SIK3 Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

SIK3 Antibody: Salt-inducible kinase family (SIKs) proteins are thought to have a role in steroidogenesis, adipogenesis or regulation of tumor malignancy. Three members (SIK1, SIK2 and SIK3) in the SIK family have been identified thus far. Their kinase domain sequences are closely homologous to those of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). SIK3 can be phosphorylated by a tumor-suppressor kinase LKB1. It is highly and preferentially expressed in ovarian tumors but not in adenomyosis and leiomyoma and may be a potential diagnostic marker for ovarian cancers.

Anti-Thymopoietin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-Thymopoietin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

Thymopoietin Antibody: Thymopoietin (TMPO), also known as LAP2, is a widely expressed lem-domain-containing nuclear protein that is thought to play an important role in the regulation of nuclear architecture by binding lamin B1 and chromosomes in a manner regulated by phosphorylation during mitosis. Thymopoietin associates with nucleoplasmic lamins A/C, which are encoded by the dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) gene LMNA; mutations in Thymopoietin disrupt this binding, suggesting that Thymopoietin may be a candidate disease gene for DCM.

Mouse recombinant B7-H4 (from CHO cells)

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

B7-H4 is a B7 family member that negatively regulates T cell immunity by inhibiting T cell proliferation, cytokine production and cell cycle progression. In vitro, B7-H4 inhibits CD4+ and CD8+ T cell proliferation, cytokine production and generation of alloreactive cytotoxic T cells (CTLs). In vivo, blockade of endogenous B7-H4 by specific monoclonal antibody promotes T cell responses. B7-H4 ia an important negative regulator of innate immunity through growth inhibition of neutrophils. B7-H4 is expressed on some tumour cancer cells. The role of B7-H4 in tumour progression may be to transform precancerous cells and then protect them from immunosurveillance.

Anti-RNASEH2A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-RNASEH2A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

RNAse H2A Antibody: Ribonucleases (RNAses) H are enzymes that hydrolyze the RNA strands of RNA/DNA hybrids. The major role of these enzymes is to remove the RNA strand from the RNA/DNA hybrids that form during DNA replication and repair. RNAse H2 is made up of three subunits; all three are required for RNAse activity. Recent evidence has demonstrated that mutations in RNAse H2A or any of the other subunits result in Aicardi-Goutieres syndrome (AGS), a neurological disorder with similar symptoms to viral brain infections including high levels of IFN-alpha in the cerebral spinal fluid. Similar conditions are observed with mutations in TREX1, a single-stranded DNA exonuclease, suggesting that RNAse H2 and TREX1 may have similar roles, and that mutations in any of these genes lead to an accumulation of intracellular nucleic acids, triggering an inflammatory response through activation of the innate immune system.

Anti-KLRA1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-KLRA1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

KLRA1 Antibody: KLRA1 (also known and Ly49L) is a member of the LY49 family of receptors Natural killer (NK) cells that bind to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class 1. These proteins are classified as either activating or inhibitory receptors based on whether they possess an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM) in their cytoplasmic region (for inhibitory receptors), or an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) that transmits activating signals resulting in phosphorylation of several substrates. KLRA1 is thought to be an activating receptor, inducing DAP12 phosphorylation in response to antibody-mediated cross-linking of KLRA1 on NK cells. At least three isoforms of KLRA1 are known to exist.
