About this item
Mouse Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC ELISA kit is a 90 minutes sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.
- Higher throughput: Get results in just 90 minutes, with a single wash step
- Detection range: 2 to 32 ng/ml
- Sensitivity: 0,14 ng/ml
- Sample type: Serum, plasma or other biological fluids
- Assay precision: Intra assay: CV <8%, Inter assay: CV <10%
Mouse Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC ELISA kit (A313718) employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique for the quantitative measurement of mouse Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC has been pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. The standards and test samples are added into the wells and the Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC present in each sample is bound to the wells by the immobilised antibody. Biotinylated Anti-Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC antibody, which also binds the Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC present in each sample, and Streptavidin-HRP, which binds the Biotinylated Anti-Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC antibody, are added and the microtiter plate is incubated. Following incubation, unbound Biotinylated Anti-Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC antibody and unbound Streptavidin-HRP are removed by washing, and two substrate solutions are added to the wells. Colour develops in proportion to the amount of Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC captured in each well. The colour development is stopped by addition of stop solution which changes the colour from blue to yellow and the intensity of the colour is then measured. The concentration of Ornithine Decarboxylase/ODC in the samples can then be calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.
