A competitive ELISA kit for quantify Epinephrine/Adrenaline in biological fluids.

  • Easy, convenient and time-saving method to measure the level of Adrenaline/Epinephrine in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, culture supernatants and other biological fluids
  • Detection Range: 7,813 to 500 pg/ml
  • Sensitivity: <4,688 pg/ml
  • Assay Precision: Intra-Assay: CV <8%; Inter-Assay: CV <10%
  • This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Adrenaline/Epinephrine. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Adrenaline/Epinephrine and analogues was observed

Epinephrine, also known as adrenalin or adrenaline, is a hormone, neurotransmitter, and medication. Epinephrine is normally produced by both the adrenal glands and certain neurons. It plays an important role in the fight-or-flight response by increasing blood flow to muscles, the output of the heart, pupil dilation, and blood sugar. It does this by binding to alpha and beta receptors. It is found in many animals and some single-cell organisms. BioVision’s Adrenaline/Epinephrine ELISA kit is a competitive ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of Adrenaline in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The density of colour is inversely proportional to the amount of Adrenaline captured from the samples.
