Automated Kjeldahl steam distillation units

A range of compact distillation units for total nitrogen and protein analysis according to Kjeldahl, with the reservoirs for the H₂O and reagents located within the units. Three models are available depending on the level of sophistication and automation required. All the units have the same basic features including.

Compact steam generator with safety over temperature and over pressure device
Safety door - the system will not operate if the door is open
Tube in place sensor – if tube not located then dosing process for NaOH is prevented

Pro–Nitro M: Basic distillation unit for small to medium throughput of samples. Mainly manual features with limited automation.

Pro–Nitro S: Semi automatic distillation unit for medium to large throughput of samples. Choice of manual or automatic functionality.

Pro–Nitro A: Automated ‘on-line’ analysis of the distillate allows for systematic, safe, precise analysis with minimal personnel intervention. The automatic detection of the end of the process by titration minimises the time cycle and improves accuracy and throughput efficiency. Results can be downloaded to an external printer (optional) for GLP.

: Instruments supplied with a MACRO (Ø 42 mm, 250 ml) tube, set of reservoirs and connection tubes. The Pro-Nitro-A also is supplied with 5 litres of boric acid solution and a titration indicator.
