Medium temperature vacuum grease. Silicone-free. Used when a grease of higher melting point is required.
- Performs well under a wide range of temperatures, from +10 to +120°C
- Has added cushioning
- Exhibits good 'stiction' or sticking power
- Powerful 'gettering' action, meaning it absorbs potentially harmful grease and chemical impurities on metal and glass surfaces
- Easy to clean and remove as it is soluble in hydrocarbon and chlorinated solvents
Vapour pressure 4,6×10-⁹ torr at 20 °C
Caution: Apiezon® T is not recommended for highly stressed bearings.
