This standard solution is intended for use as a calibration standard for total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN). It is prepared gravimetrically to contain nominally 1000 mg of total Kjeldahl nitrogen per liter of solution using analytical grade raw materials and 18 megohm deionised water. The certified concentration is the mean of replicate measurements. The uncertainty is calculated as ±2s/√n.
