Anti-KNG1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy7®)

Supplier: Bioss

This gene uses alternative splicing to generate two different proteins- high molecular weight kininogen (HMWK) and low molecular weight kininogen (LMWK). HMWK is essential for blood coagulation and assembly of the kallikrein-kinin system. Also, bradykinin, a peptide causing numerous physiological effects, is released from HMWK. In contrast to HMWK, LMWK is not involved in blood coagulation. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Oct 2009].

Anti-HIRA/HIR Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody [clone: EPR25299-11]

Anti-HIRA/HIR Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody [clone: EPR25299-11]

Supplier: Abcam

Anti-HIRA/HIR antibody [EPR25299-11] is a Rabbit Monoclonal antibody that is used in HIRA/HIR IHC-P, IP, Western Blot. Suitable for Human, Mouse, Rat samples. HIRA (Histone Cell Cycle Regulator) is a histone chaperone that facilitates replication-independent chromatin assembly by placing the variant histone H3.3 into nucleosomes. It plays a crucial role in the formation of senescence-associated heterochromatin foci (SAHF), which are involved in the irreversible cell cycle changes in senescent cells. Additionally, HIRA is essential for the periodic repression of histone gene transcription during the cell cycle.

Anti-PEX5L Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy5®)

Supplier: Bioss

Peroxisomes are single-membrane bound organelles present in virtually all eukaryotic cells. They are involved in numerous catabolic and anabolic pathways, including beta-oxidation of very long chain fatty acids, metabolism of hydrogen peroxide, plasmalogen biosynthesis and bile acid synthesis. The Peroxin gene family, which includes more than 20 members, is required for peroxisome biogenesis. Peroxin 5R, also known as PEX5-related protein or Peroxisome biogenesis factor 5-like, is a 626 amino acid protein that is mainly expressed in brain, with some expression in testis and pancreas. Peroxin 5R contains five TPR repeats, which enable protein-protein interactions and assembly of large multiprotein complexes. There are three isoforms of Peroxin 5R that are produced as a result of alternative splicing events. These isoforms bind C-terminal peroxisome-targeting signals in a similar manner to Peroxin-5. Peroxin 5R interacts with Rab 8b, possibly playing a role in vesicular trafficking and neurotransmitter release.

Anti-SASS6 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 350)

Supplier: Bioss

SAS-6 (spindle assembly abnormal protein 6 homolog, HsSAS-6) is a 657 amino acid protein encoded by the human gene SAS6. SAS-6 is a component of the centrosome that contains one PISA (present in SAS-6) domain. LK4, SAS-6, CPAP and other centriole related proteins are required at different stages of procentriole formation and were associated with different centriolar structures. SAS-6 associates only transiently with nascent procentrioles, whereas CEP135 and CPAP form a core structure within the proximal lumen of both parental and nascent centrioles. SAS-6 is necessary for procentriole formation in human cell lines and is localized asymmetrically next to the centriole at the onset of procentriole formation. SAS-6 levels oscillate during the cell cycle; it is degraded in mitosis starting at anaphase, and it accumulates again at the end of the following G1 phase. The anaphase-promoting complex targets SAS-6 for degradation by the 26S Proteasome, and a KEN box in the C-terminus of SAS-6 is necessary for its degradation. Increased SAS-6 levels promoted the formation of multiple procentrioles forming next to a single centriole.

Human recombinant JAMA (from cells)

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

Junctional Adhesion Molecule A (JAM-A) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. JAM-A contains 2 Ig-like V-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains and Interacts with the ninth PDZ domain. JAM-A is localized to the tight junctions of both epithelial and endothelial cells. JAM-A seems to be involved in epithelial tight junction formation. JAM-A appears early in primordial forms of cell junctions and recruits PARD3. The association of the PARD6-PARD3 complex may prevent the interaction of PARD3 with JAM-A, thereby preventing tight junction assembly. JAM-A plays a role in regulating monocyte transmigration involved in regulating integrity of the epithelial barrier. In the case of orthoreovirus infection, JAM-A serves as receptor for the virus.

Anti-BRCA2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-BRCA2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

Involved in double-strand break repair and/or homologous recombination. Binds RAD51 and potentiates recombinational DNA repair by promoting assembly of RAD51 onto single-stranded DNA (ssDNA). Acts by targeting RAD51 to ssDNA over double-stranded DNA, enabling RAD51 to displace replication protein-A (RPA) from ssDNA and stabilizing RAD51-ssDNA filaments by blocking ATP hydrolysis. Part of a PALB2-scaffolded HR complex containing RAD51C and which is thought to play a role in DNA repair by HR. May participate in S phase checkpoint activation. Binds selectively to ssDNA, and to ssDNA in tailed duplexes and replication fork structures.
